should be easy (before sept11)---apply right on the spot, i mean, canada's consulate general in usa---fill out form, pay fee... as long as they have legal visa to usa (ofc they have, say, b2), then 2hr later, all set

AT THAT TIME, I didnt prepare a thing, they just asked,do ur parents have return ticket to china, i said yes, then done. now i guess, it could be tougher, but as long as u do have return tickets, b2 visa, info of 'visitee' in canada (that is u), there is no reason they dont grant a visa, unless there is signficant polic change. goodluck
