枫下家园 / 电脑用户 / 请教，我现在使用BELL的SYMPATICAL上网，用FOXMAIL来收发263.net和sina.com等邮箱时，可以收，但发不出去。其smtp的设置都是按照要求填写的：smtp.263.net和smtp.sina.com.cn 如何解决？？？？？

NO! In order to prevent span, your sympatico server will block any other SMTP server you are trying to connect. So you can only use sympatico server, as well as other major ISPs.

可我还可以通过FOXMAIL收邮件啊，另外刚才我去263的网页直接去发邮件，也可以啊！

哦！ 我没有看到，一般来说，ISP是不允许你透过他们直接向smtp.sina or smtp.263.net 发邮件的，但是你可以使用：smtp12.sympatico.ca 来发, （smtp26 / 27 / 28 / 29也是可以的）。

When you receive, it's pop3, not SMTP, they are different.

I mean when sending emails, you can have FROM yourmail@address and connect to any SMTP servers to send out.
