I am using the drive indictaed above ( I just checked ).
S3 Inc. Savage/IX displayer driver. Version: 5.12.1.7047. Is there anything wrong? Look forward your further guidance. Thank you.

My PC experienced the similar problem as yours before. So, I removed the drvier provided by windows 2000 default and installed the driver downloaded from display card manufactory. The problem was gone.

Or maybe you can try put your RM CD into another PC and see if it works.

CD has no problem. I have tried to install the latest version of Displayer Driver but it doesn't work. The Win2000 automatically shuts off and then stops there. I have to manually turn off and restart again.
