要是毕业了，还没convocation时，还没有毕业证书，就得拿成绩单，有毕业证书时，不必。

When you get there, at first you do not need to show them the offer letter unless they ask, the TN letter is enough. Not sure what is in your offer letter.Because some people ask the company to sponsor the H1B/Green Card. Some company will write this in their offer letter as a formal contract but will not show that in the TN letter, as TN is for the tempory working permit , no immigration purpose

Update: 顺利拿到TN。只看了TN letter，diploma，和Resume。问了公司做什么和我要做什么。所有文件都还给了我。officer很nice。谢谢本版提供的有用信息和热心朋友的回复。
特别感谢aol。虽然不认你，但只看你的文字就感觉人很好。刚刚看到你的美图，你在南加哪里？我去San Diego。

祝贺，刚看到你的PM，来了之后的步骤1.拿现金租个临时的房子，有个地址
2.申请SSN （需要有个地址），1个星期后寄到
3.收到SSN后，银行开户
4.拿着SSN去DMV申请驾照，预约路考（去租车，记得买全部保险，否则还没上车就打发了）
5.如果有American Express的信用卡，给他们打电话，把profile转过来，慢慢积累信用，不要尝试去申请银行的信用卡，100%拒，除非申请BoA的那个有押金的

you can try bank of america, without SSN, just with your passport you may still be able to open a check account. unless they changed lately

if you have ontario G driver licence,i do not think you will have to go through the road drive test,they will just check your eye then give you the new local licence expire time will be your H1B expire date.
yes, AXP can transfer your canadian $ credit card to your us address.but it is still in canadian dollar
you can still try to get a US credit card with your SSN. try HSBC USA. or other credit card with high APR rate. They normally will give you one with just 500-700 usd limit

还是满顺利的，祝贺。买车了吧？等开上车还是得小心，南加州从路况到司机的驾驶风气都不会比加拿大好多少，加拿大毕竟是地广人稀。

我圣诞节去了两周,感觉比现在的多伦多强多了,现在多伦多黄灯必冲,红灯也不少冲.加州太不好的是GPS不能挂前窗上,LD拿手里指挥,真是乱透了.

在看，还没买。但已经租了好几次车了。感觉还好，我还觉得他们开得太肉了，没有toronto那么猛。local和高速开得都慢。不过也可能是我平时开得太快了。说起租车，我想补充一下。我去考驾照的时候是租的车，看时decline了所有的保险，就是用自己的车保险和credit card的benefit cover insurance。办理的时候，也没有问我要其他的保险信息，只看了一眼租车的单子，就说，ok，you rent a car。仅供参考。
