你说的进口车子到美国是不是车子到美国去注册? 上个星期我家有人把Camry开去美国长期使用，但是注册还是留在加拿大。

Do you guys import cars as permanent importation or as temporary importation? The car carrier told me I can only do temporary importation if I am not a US resident yet, also no letter of compliance required for temporary importation.But I looked at the temporary importation, the car has to be exported in a year. But the car carrier said that's not true. I am just wondering if the car carrier only wanted to do the business but they don't care what will happen to me later on. Why everyone is getting letter of compliance otherwise?
