枫下茶话 / 法律 / 请教大家一个问题, 我是6,28,2002前离境超过183天了, 但还能满足730/5年的条件. 我的朋友帮我问了call center. 那个人讲象我这种情况再入境时, 如果移民官让进就进了, 不让进就不进了.我很奇怪难道没有什么法律依据/标准吗? 哪位大虾知道一些情况, 请提点一下. 多谢!!!

现场的移民官有权力决定是否让你入境，即便是正常情况，象你这种情况就更不用说了。这个问题以前讨论过。我很纳闷，如果想保留PR身份，怎么就敢冒险预支新法呢？

(for example. you have real estate investment, bank account, driver license...)

thanks, daydream.Does it mean although the new act has come into force, to keep the PR status for old PRs (landed before 6, 28) you have to convince the officer you have no intention to give up ur status, doesn't it? thanks for your reply.
